At your consultation, you'll receive a copy of Get

Wedding Guide and Bride and Groom Planner (a $25
value!) as our engagement gift to you.

We also offer an apprenticeship program for those looking
to start a career in wedding planning. It is a six month,
unpaid commitment in which you will assist us at a
minimum of 6 weddings and prepare to become a wedding
planner for yourself or the Your Dream Day team. You
must complete the Professional Bridal Consultant /
Professional Development Program course to apply
for the apprenticeship. All assistants and lead consultants
of Your Dream Day must go through this program to work
as a wedding consultant for our company, no exceptions.
We also one time unpaid assisting opportunities for novice
level members of the Association of Bridal Consultants
looking to earn their shadowing credit toward becoming a
consultant level member. You must be a member of the
Association of Bridal Consultants to assist or work with
Your Dream Day.

Kathy Piech-Lukas, president of Your Dream Day LLC, earned
her bachelor's degree from Xavier University. She has more
than 14 years of event planning experience, including
weddings, concerts, large scale special events, trade shows,
product launches, and corporate events. She worked as a
marketing communications specialist and public affairs
manager for two different Fortune 500 companies, in addition to
a variety of other public relations and marketing positions,
before opening the company in 2002. Wedding vendors and
friends encouraged her to become a wedding planner because
of her extreme attention to detail, tenacity, and friendly, upbeat
and outgoing personality. She has served as the co-coordinator
of the Cincinnati Local Networking Group of the Association of
Bridal Consultants for the past six years. In addition to serving
on the Special Events Committee for the City of Franklin, she
also coordinates an annual fundraising event for the Lupus
Foundation called "Got Wedding Stuff." This year, she is
releasing "Master Wedding Planner," an online wedding
planning software, which she co-wrote with Software Masters,
to help wedding planners, wedding vendors and brides plan
their weddings more efficiently. She has been a mentor for Big
Brothers Big Sisters for eight years. Within the industry, she
has served as a keynote speaker at four different conferences
nationally for the Association of Bridal Consultants and is
spearheading the development of a national internship and
apprenticeship program with the national education coordinator
for the Association. She will be earning her Accredited Bridal
Consultant (ABC) status, the fourth level of five, within the
Association of Bridal Consultants this year and plans to
present for Master Bridal Consultant in the near future.
